LBM Advantage Announces New Controller
New Windsor, N.Y.
LBM Advantage, one of the nation’s leading lumber and building materials cooperatives, proudly announces the appointment of Rodline Smith as their new Controller. Smith brings well over a decade of invaluable accounting and leadership experience, further solidifying Advantage’s commitment to excellence in fiscal management.
Smith will work out of the New Windsor headquarters where she will assume responsibility for all accounting functions including leading a dedicated team of accountants, accounting specialists, and supervisors. Her primary duties encompass preparing and analyzing financial reports, managing audits, ensuring accounting accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. Smith will also collaborate closely with Dave DeJoy, Advantage’s Chief Financial Officer, to formulate and implement strategic financial initiatives.
Before joining LBM Advantage, Smith served as the Controller for AdWeek in New York City, where she honed her skills in navigating complex accounting environments. On her hiring, Dave DeJoy stated, “Rodline Smith’s impressive track record and extensive background make her a valuable addition to the Advantage team.
